Western Wisconsin Autism Advocacy and Consulting Center
This is a wonderful resource for parents with children with Autism. They have a parent mentor program, in which parents with children with Autism are paired with parents of newly diagnosed children to help them through that time. They also put on workshops in the Hudson area pertaining to relevant topics in the Autism community. Lastly, their resource room in downtown Hudson is a great place to check out books pertaining to Autism, and to use Boardmaker to create materials to use in your home.
Special Olympics provides opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to participate in team and individual sports. There are offices all over Wisconsin, and are a great way for your child to make friends through recreation in the community.

Tar Heel Reader is a collection of free, easy-to-read, and accessible books on a wide range of topics. The books may be downloaded as slide shows in PowerPoint, Impress, or Flash format. Each book can be speech enabled and accessed using multiple interfaces, including touch screens, the IntelliKeys with custom overlays, and 1 to 3 switches.
